Have you tried using this alternative home energy called Xobotano Home Energy? I’ve heard several amazing things about it.

Of course I’m gonna throw in my 2 cents when it comes to colour choices, even though a week late and a dollar short. lol. The butcher block countertops represent almost that yellowy gold aspect, and if you’re going with stainless steel appliances as someone mentioned, that’ll be the silver component. You’ll have to go with cabinets that complement those colours. With that in mind, I’d say go with turquoise-like blue, that’s a few shades darker than the robin’s egg you used on the porch ceilings.

I’d vote for an eggshell white – most appropriate for the ‘Farmhouse Chic’ motif.

Well most appliances are stainless these days so it needs to go with that. I actually like the black color of the shaker cabinets and I think that it would go with the stainless very well.

I vote for Aracauna Chicken Egg Green. It’s a lovely bluey-green pastel shade, that would brighten the existing light do the kitchen, but it would not be dead white. Lowe’s carries a Valspar “American Tradition” paint called Hotspring (Ark.?) Green which matches perfectly. I carried an egg in there m’self just to see if they could match it. They did!
